The Entertainment Factor
This is, without a doubt, one of the hardest things I’ll try to explain. It’s one of those things that is very subjective and you either “get it” or you don’t. I’ll do my best…
The Entertainment Factor is both vital and subtle at the same time. It is what separates the million dollar product from the “just getting by” product.
It is what fuels the “Guru Seminars“.
It is what fuels the “Big Launches“.
Understanding The Buyer
My Definition of a “Buyer”: A Person Literally Addicted To Buying Information On A Certain Topic. They Will Buy Multiple Items On The Exact Same Topic.
The “Buyer” is my number one target. I could care less about trying to convince anyone else, anyone who is not a Buyer according to my definition.
No matter what topic you can come up with, it has buyers completely addicted to buying more and more on that topic. The true buyer could care less “who” writes the info, as long as the sales message for that info describes the key things that trigger his addiction, he will buy it.
You Can Create Anything
Another rule of the Information Millionaire: There is virtually no topic off limits - You can create anything you want.
No one exists that can tell you that you can’t.
This is another reason I like the model of Boardroom Reports Inc. They sell info products on making money, success, health, travel and on and on. They cover a wide range of topics.
Just like them, you don’t have to know everything there is to know about the subject, you don’t have to be an expert. You can either do research yourself or hire people to do research on various topics for you. When they submit that research you work it up into a product.
“How” To Get Unlimited Ideas
For those who are thinking about the low cost report idea, I get one main question…
“What’s the best way to get ideas for reports?”
This is one of the easiest of all questions to answer because there are a few copywriters who are really good at what they do, and because of that, they make this job incredibly simple.
The best ideas come from “Bullets“. Yes, those “bullet points” you see in sales letters all over the Internet.
A single, powerful bullet point can deliver you the entire “concept” for a new report topic. It can even give you the main “Hook” for your sales message to sell the report.
How Big Is The Pie You’re Looking At?
If you have 100,000 competitors you better hope the pie you’re looking at is huge…
Which is why you might seriously want to think about only producing information products proven to have the greatest number of addicted Buyers.
For example, the seduction market is one of them. The success stories coming out of that field are incredible. Five million a year with a single ebook. 20 million a year with ebooks, cd’s and coaching. There are a ton of competitors, but remember two things: There are also a ton of buyers and those buyers buy virtually everything they can get their hands on about the subject.
How To Turn Average To Outrageous
Let’s say you want to write a book about recruiting an affiliate network for selling products. But, there are all kinds of affiliate books out there. How do you stand out? What makes this book different? Why would I choose this one over another?
The secret to that is to “Reframe It“…
Average, even boring, products have been turned into powerhouses by the simple process of reframing..
Let’s look at these titles and see if you can choose which one to buy:
“How To Start An Affiliate Program”
“How To Recruit An Affiliate Network”
“How To Get Affiliates To Sell For You”
Assuming Resistance Creates Resistance…
I’ve had two members ask me about copywriting in the last two days. So I’ve decided to lay one of the most potent “occult” secrets on you.
The definition of “occult” they way I’m using it in this instance is: “hidden from view” - because it really is hidden from view.
Today, even people who make big money on those huge packages and seminars do so in spite of themselves - literally. I sometimes wonder how much more they would make if they truly understood and applied what I’m about to tell you. Getting this one understanding downpat can make even a mediocre copywriter money - he can screw up on most other things and if he gets this right -he’ll make money.
Cheap Reports - Are they worth the effort?
Over the last few months I’ve really gotten a kick out of what’s been going on with the $7 report mania. Some people are finding they sell like crazy and the big name marketers are trying to bash the hell out of selling them. Both sides are screwing up…
- Those who find they sell like crazy and not setting up a “system” to literally be able to sell thousands of them at once.
- The big name marketers are either afraid too many people will like the idea or they don’t understand the concept and power of being able to sell 10,000 of these a month.
